The world’s best athletes are preparing themselves for the upcoming mega event of 2011
IAAF World Championships in Daegu to be held from 27th August-September 4th. The world’s leading athletes will be seen in a structure and at their best, which promises the competition to be at par excellence in terms of blended competition.
Some of the world’s leading nations have initiated to deploy the mercenaries of athletics who are par excellence in the respected disciplines of athletics. Team USA looks on in a great form to achieve scintillating spots in the battle of the epics.

The lavished team USA has inducted some of their leading world performers which comprise of 19 World Championships medallists and 16 Olympic medallists.

 Some of the recent performances blending chances of USA to clear the medal tally with ease can be clearly depicted with the help of their 2009 World Outdoor Championships in Berlin, Germany where team USA was able to attain 22 medals. From the 22 medals,
10 of them were Gold.

Enlisted in the team USA is USA’s reigning World Champions includes Allyson Felix who is on a verge to attempt a double in the 200m as well as the 400m.

Entitled as the three-time world Championships gold medallist in the 200m category and a winner at the 2011 USA outdoor championships to be crowned as the first female ever to win a national title in the 100m, 200m and 400m in a career, Felix holds a strong
pedestal to counter the odds.

Sanya Richards-Ross, well known as the American record holder in the 400m will be looking her mark to defend world title in the one-lap race. Adding to her records and entitlements, Ross has won a total of five Olympic and World Championships gold medals
in the 400m and the 4x400m category.

Christian Cantwell will be also looking to mantle the competition in the category of the men’s shot put. The athlete after returning from a sidelining shoulder injury made a scintillating plunge and won the Diamond League this season in Stockholm and Lausanne.
