Tottenham looking to land Mario Gomez to reinforce attacking options

It is being reported that Tottenham Hotspurs manager, Harry Redknapp has now turned his attention to Germany in order to add firepower to his side. The manager is reportedly looking to make a big money transfer for the player, on the deadline day of the
transfer windows in hopes that the lack of time to think about the deal, will help Luis Van Gaal let go of the player, with very little to no remorse.

The twenty five year old striker started off at Bayern Munich as a second choice striker, but due to his brilliant form, he has been brought into the side as a regular member of the starting eleven. The player has been on such great form, that he has gone
on to score three hat-tricks this season and has scored a total of twenty four goals in all competitions so far.

Despite the players top form, Redknapp feels a move to the Premier League and to Tottenham, might give Gomez something to think about and as a result he might side with the idea of switching teams. On the other hand losing out on a striker won’t come as
a giant blow to Munich, who happen to have attackers lined-up to replace Gomez, if he does leave the team.

Harry Redknapp has been on the lookout to land a towering forward, who is good in the air and on the ground off late. The manager has made bids for Fernando Llorente, but so far those attempts have had very little to no avail. The manager even went on to
make a shock bid for Sergio Aguero, but that that deal died out, soon after.

However a move for Gomez would only set back Tottenham around sixteen million pounds and that just so happens to be a fee, which the team can easily afford at the current moment.

If Gomez is to make the move to White Hart Lane, then he would give the Spurs a much needed boost offensively, which would prove to be greatly helpful in both Europe and domestically in the league.
