Christian Horner; not in a rush to offer contract extension to Webber: The manager of the Red Bull racing team from the Formula 1 circuit, Christian Horner is at the moment not interested in holding the talks about the future contract of
Mark Webber with the team.

The current world Champ driver Sebastian Vettel has renewed his contract with the Red Bull team till 2014 and the contract of the Aussie veteran Webber will expire after this year’s season. But the boss of the racing team is currently not interested in dealing
with the Australian for his contract renewal.

Some sports critics are off the view that the about to start season is most probably the final season for the thirty four years old Webber because at the moment Mark seems less interested in continuing his driving career after the upcoming season. Moreover
this can be the reason that why Horner seems less interested to book Webber for further more years.

On the other hand some of the sports news has also reported that the Red Bull team is keen to monitor the performance of Webber in the upcoming season before offering him a new contract. The performance of the Aussie ace in the previous season was not under
the par as well because he led the point’s table for a pretty longer span before his team mate; Sebastian Vettel claimed the World Championship title after winning the final Grand Prix race. Moreover some speculations about the rivalry between Webber and Vettel
were also reported.

When Horner was asked about the matter, he told that the relation between Mark and Sebastian is very friendly and the team is very happy with Mark as well. The Englishman Christian told that currently the both the drivers are at different levels because
Vettel is just twenty three years old and his career has just started whereas on the other hand Mark is a very well experienced driver. That is why it is hard to compare Webber with Vettel; added, Horner.

When the thirty seven years old Horner was asked about the renewal of Mark’s contract with the respective team, he answered the question by saying that the matter is totally dependent upon the performance of the Aussie ace as they will monitor the performance
of Mark in the upcoming season and than will decide whether Webber should be offered another contract or not.

Horner was also of the view that at the age of thirty four Webber might not feel the need to race in the next season because at that level a driver most probably lose the right amount of motivation to give his full over the racing tracks.

The Briton added that this is not the time to think about the future of Mark because it is the time to show the best in the upcoming challenge. He continued that there is still a plenty of time left in to talk about the contract and everything will take
place according on the right time.

When Horner was asked about the contract extension of the German star Vettel, he said that Vettel is very motivated and very keen about his career. He further added that the case of Webber is different and they had decided to sign Mark over the yearly basis
because it totally depends about the motivation and enthusiasm of Webber to continue his career with the team or not.

Christian told that Mark will be thirty five this year and he has shown a lot of improvement in his performance in the previous years but one thing that needs to be focused is the hunger of Webber to race and that is what his team wants to see in him.  He
added that we will give him full support in the upcoming season.
