All eyes on Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Pep Guardiola – La Liga News

As the match between AC Milan and Barcelona draws nearer, fans and journalists alike are becoming more eager about Zlatan Ibrahimovic with his former manager Pep Guardiola. Ibrahimovic, who is a former Barcelona player, left the Catalan club after news about
his rift with Guardiola.

Barcelona are set to play Milan at San Siro for their Group H Champions League match. Although the teams have already progressed to the knock-out stage, this match will determine which team finishes on top of the group.

Both teams are among the best in Europe, hence tonight’s match has been greatly looked forward to. It is expected to be a very competitive encounter. Also, with Ibrahimovic facing his former club and manager, the emphasis on the importance of the match has
been doubled.

This is the first time that the two men will be able to see eye-to-eye, ever since Ibra’s stormy departure from Nou Camp. Many across the footballing world will be looking forward to the two men confront each other. The issues between the two professionals
might even be exaggerated, but the media seems fully prepared to milk this opportunity and make news out of it.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic recently published his autobiography, through which he revealed his issues staying with Barcelona and the problems he had with Guardiola. The Swede allegedly called the Spanish mentor a coward and exclaimed that he had ‘no balls’ in his
book.

According to the Sweden international, he had even threatened to beat up Guardiola publicly if he was not allowed to exit Barcelona. Ibrahimovic had also expressed desire to play for rivals Real Madrid, but he was denied the transfer. Instead he was loaned
out to Italian giants AC Milan.

Now that the two men are set to come face to face, they will be under constant observation as their gestures, looks and movements will all be monitored by everyone watching the encounter. It is rare to watch so much importance to be given to two individuals,
especially when two of the biggest clubs in Europe face each other in the Champions League.

In a press conference prior to the match, Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola was quoted as saying:

“I don’t have any problems with Mr. Ibrahimovic. I’ve said it before, being real and natural is the most important thing. If we meet, we’ll act like the sportsmen that we are.”

AC Milan against Barcelona is set to be an epic encounter, with the winner finishing top of the Group H, we can only wait and watch as to who emerges victorious.
