Adam Nemec out for three months after falling down from a cherry tree- Bundesliga news

1.FC Kaiserslautern striker, Adam Nemec, suffered collarbone fracture after falling down off a cherry tree. He also fractured two vertebrae and was left in a state of shock. The injury has ruled the striker out of action for three months meaning that the
Slovakian won’t take any further part in his team’s pre-season training neither he would think again of testing his climbing skills.

Nemec took a day off from training in order to spend some leisure time at home with his family. The incident occurred when the 25-year-old decided to test his climbing skills by plucking some cherries from the tree. As he was bringing the fruit down, the
player suddenly suffered a slip and found himself lying on the ground. He was unconscious for a couple of minutes but soon realized about his fractures after getting x-rays on the affected parts.

The club’s medical staff advised the striker to take a break from the game as he wasn’t in a situation to play or train. Nemec would also miss the early part of the competition due to the nature of the injury. Former MSK Zilina striker would undergo an injury
hoping to be fit before the start of the 2011/12 campaign.

The Slovakia international started his playing career with a Slovak football club, MFK Dubnica, in 2002 and netted in eight goals from 19 league appearances. After spending a couple of years with the club, he tied knots with MSK Zilina and managed 75 league
appearances during his three-year stay at the club. He also bagged 18 goals during that period. In 2008, Nemec joined 2. Bundesliga outfit, FC Erzgebirge Aue, for one year and amassed 10 goals from 29 league games before shaking hands with a Belgian based
unit, K.R.C. Genk in 2008. There he appeared 21 times, bagging four goals in the process. The striker finally joined the Red Devils in 2009 and has managed 53 Bundesliga appearances till date to go along with his eight goals.

Last season, Nemec netted in three times from his 24 league appearances enabling his side to finish the 2010/11 season, 7th
in the final standings.
