Young England in Amsterdam

European Mixed Team Badminton Championships is going to be hosted by Amsterdam this year. The gala will start from 15th of February till the 20th of the same month. England who has worked a lot in the team selection is now geared up
to excel in the event with young blood as the selectors have selected a non traditional group of players who will be representing England in Amsterdam.  The coach as well as the performance officer are quite confident of the young crew and are hoping high
of he new talent.

Among the new faces who on behalf of their talent have managed to be the part of top 13 are Singles player Baxter and the doubles pair Heather Olve and Chris Langridge. The remaining two players had participated as reserves in the precious events. All the
eyes and hopes of England are set on the doubles players Nathan Robertson and Anthony Clark who have appeared in as many tournaments as a player can. They participated in about 100 events and currently are England’s most capped players.

The girl who won in the common wealth games a bronze medal for her country being the most experienced player in women’s singles is appearing in her 39th game. While the among top 16, Rajiv Ouseph is leading the singles rally of hope.

The event encircles 33 nations but due to with drawl of Greece 32 nations partake in the event which formulates 8 groups to meet in the court one by one. England has won the title for 5 times is in the third position this time and Denmark on the second position
and Germany leading all the nations with first position. In the group matches England needs no big worries but in the knock out final system has made the event more interesting. England, according to the draws will play with Austria, Ireland and Slovenia and
by defeating them England can easily be in the finals.

Jens Grill was found saying that the stability and sense of poise in the team is quite fine. And the English are hoping the repetition of the same history of two years back in Liverpool. All the teams were wished beat of their luck by the sales and marketing
director.  He further proposed hopes for the team and best wishes and looked forward to better future of the new comers by creating good performance in this event.
