Roman Pavlyuchenko says he is fed up at Spurs & Louis Saha jubilant after finding form

Tottenham’s Russian striker Roman Pavlyuchenko has admitted that he is not enjoying his time at spurs, and he would consider his options in summer transfer window.

The 29 year old forward has not been able to get regular place in first team under Harry Redknapp. He had been out earlier due to a groin injury but even after getting fit he has found himself on the bench more times than not.

The Russian believes that the manager has a bias against him, and nothing he can do can change his mind.

Pavlyuchenko said: “The way I see it, the manager just doesn’t trust me and it doesn’t matter if I play well, score goals or try my best in training – nothing will make him change his mind about me.

He added that he is not looking to extend his contract which runs out at the end of next season. Pavlyuchenko added that as soon as the season ends and the transfer window opens, he would be looking for a way out of the club.

“So I’m not going to extend my contract, which expires at the end of next season, and will try to leave the club over the summer transfer window.

Pavlyuchenko said that if a player plays well in a game and scores a goal, it is obvious that the manager would give him a go in the next game. But that has not been the case with him, and he is finally fed up being sidelined.

The front man went on to say that last two games he was fit and ready to play, but the manager did not give him any chance.

Meanwhile Louis Saha the former Manchester United striker, now part of Everton is willing to take the blame for disappointing first half of the season for Everton.

Saha was the top scorer for Everton last season, but was not able to make much of an impact in the first 5 months of the current campaign. He missed 6 games in between due to a calf injury and got his first goal of the season only in January.

Saha’s poor form was reflected in the dismal from for the Toffees, who have been in bottom half of the table for most of the season.

Saha though has found form in recent games; he got his first goal of the season in the win against Tottenham a month ago.

The French striker has gone on to score 8 goals since then, which also included 4 in one game against Blackpool at home.

Saha said that Everton should have done better in the season, and need to be much higher in the table than they are right now. He added that there is no shortage of talented players in the squad, and if everyone plays to their potential, Everton can get
much better results. Saha said that is he would have been able to bring this form earlier, things could have been a lot different for them.

Saha was signed by Everton from Manchester United back in 2008. Last season he got 15 goals, but was not able to maintain the same form at the start of the season this time. While looking back at 11 unimpressive months, Saha said that when the goals just
don’t come a striker is helpless. But now that he has found his form he plans to carry on scoring goals, and said that his team is capable of challenging for a Europa cup spot.
