Neven Subotic’s agent denies the Roma move rumours

The Yugoslavian called a press conference to clarify his client’s future at the club and the false rumours floating about……

The twenty two year old Yugoslavian centre back’s agent Stephen Kelly commented on the recent flying rumours by saying that Roma had not contacted him and these rumours were all fabrications.

He has confirmed that the Serbian Subotic is currently only focusing on the German Bundesliga and has no intention of moving away from his league or club.

The agent said that he had not received any word from the Giallorossi and his client’s only focus right now is to bring home the Bundesliga title.

He told a local media new reporter that “Certain news is only rubbish,” “Personally, I have had no contact with Roma, and can guarantee there has been no contact between the two clubs

“As for the possibility of leaving at the end of the season? His side is focused on winning the Bundesliga. The player is only aiming to do well, fighting for the title.

“It would be wrong on his club’s behalf to be speaking about the transfer market, and it is for this reason that we have no interest in speaking to no one.”

Neven Subotic has been rumoured to replace Philippe Mexes in the club’s current first team squad as the player has been linked to a move to the Italian side club Milan.

Subotic started playing football in 1998 with TSV Schwarzenberg’s youth academy and then made it into his first big league club in 2007 when he got signed to Mainz ’05 after a year in their training camps.

Neven fills the spot of centre back in the squad and made thirty four appearances with scoring four goals for Mainz’ 05 before moving to Borussia Dortmund in the summer transfer window of 2008.

Since then the player has stepped out onto the football field eighty nine times for the Black Yellows and netted ten goals for them. He also has the honour of having played for both the American National team and the Yugoslavian national team.

He is currently in contract with the German club for up to the summer of 2014 and this youngster shows no signs of leaving the club anytime soon.
