Kim Clijsters; enters into the semi finals: The Belgian number one tennis star Kim Clijsters has moved one step closer to another Grand Slam title after thrashing Polish tennis star Agnieszka Radwanska in her recent match.

The match against Radwanska was not at all a piece of cake for the Belgian as the Polish showed some great temperament to give her an equally good challenge. Despite of finding the perfect touch to thrash Radwanska, Kim still managed to beat the rival by
6-3 and 7-6 (7-4).

Now the current world number three Clijsters will face Vera Zvonareva in her next match. The semi final match between the Belgian and the Russian veteran is expected to be a tough battle for the Clijsters as Zvonareva is in her top form and she has played
remarkably well in her recent matches.

In the match the three times US Open winner Clijsters struggled hard to clinch the victory as her opponent was in fine form. Before the match it was expected that the match against the recently recovered from stress injury; Radwanska is not going to be very
nerve wrecking for the former world number one Clijsters. But the twenty one years old young and dynamic Polish Radwanska stunned the Belgian with her overwhelming performance.

The first set of the match was a bit convincing for Kim as she served her opponent out to snatch the victory. But in the second set the current world number fourteen Radwanska lifted her performance level to the top level. Clijsters clinched the break point
in the tenth game of the second set. Both the players showed great temperament and the set entered into the tie break zone. But Kim utilized her experience well to seal the victory of the nerve wrecking match.

After the match Kim seemed happy with her performance. According to some media critics Clijsters was clearly struggling to find her perfect touch in the match and seemed a bit tired as well which was a sign of her not so perfect; physical condition.

While talking to the media the twenty seven years old Kim told that it was not an easy day for her in the court as she was not feeling hundred percent. Later Kim told that she felt a little dizziness in the match but she had to battle hard because the former
world number nine Radwanska is an extremely hard competitor.

At one hand when the victory in the quarter finals match has earned her a close place for another Grand Slam title but on the other hand, her current not so fit condition has also added a lot of worry as well. The next match of Clijsters is against the;
inform current world number two Zvonareva and no doubt the next match is one of the toughest matches of the tournament.

She told the media while talking about the matter that she hopes that her experience will help her to give the rival a good challenge. She continued that there are still some tough matches ahead in the tournament and she is hoping for a better performance
in the upcoming match as well.

Clijsters told the media that Vera had defeated her in Wimbledon Open and she is well aware that playing against the Russian is not easy. She told that Zvonareva is playing really well these days and she will have to give her best to outclass Vera Zvonareva.

In other important matches of the event Zvonareva hammered Petra Kvitova by 6-2 and 6-4 to enter into the semi finals stages. After the match the twenty six years Old Russian told that she is very happy that she has defeated her rival after a very tough
competition.

No doubt the next match between the current world number two and current world number three is going to be full of excitement.
