Indian batting undoubtedly the best in the business

It is a very common notion in cricket that the bowlers win Test matches while the batsmen play pivotal role in their team’s limited-over triumphs. However, the situation seems a bit different in Team Blue. India’s batting line-up is so strong that it can
easily win every kind of clash against any opposition in the world.

The quality of Indian batsmen has always been a benchmark for the young lads across the globe. Picking up the wicket of a great guy like Sachin Tendulkar has been a dream for a bowler.

Not only the Master Blaster, the present Indian batting department includes many extraordinary willow-wielders including Rahul Dravid, Virender Sehwag and VVS Laxman. The Indian soil has always produced quality batsmen such as, Sunil Gavaskar Sourav Ganguly
and many others.

In the contemporary cricket, Tendulkar is unquestionably one the best batsmen of all time. He is India’s run-machine – somebody with an ability to make it big. The world has not yet witnessed a better batsman than him, and the gurus of the game rate him
among the finest ever.

“He is 99.5% Perfect. I’ll pay to watch him play. I think he is marvellous. I think he will fit in whatever category of Cricket that has been played or will be played, from the first ball that has ever been bowled to the last ball that’s going to be. He
can play in any era and at any level,” said Viv Richards, one of the all time great cricketers.

Tendulkar’s stats at the big level indicate the class of the big man. He is world’s highest run scorer in both ODIs and Tests besides his record of most international centuries – 99 tons.

Dravid is another stalwart of the Indian batting line-up. The strong temperament coupled with rock solid technique is the key feature of his amazing batting skills. The 38-year-old is one of the few classical Test batsmen in today’s cricket.

The player has proved his worth on so many occasions by lifting his team out of the dire circumstances. He was India’s only successful batsman on the recent tour to England, where the opponent bowling attack troubled the entire Indian crew.

Sehwag and Laxman are two other giants in the present Indian troop. The latter is known for his class and technique while the Sehwag is surely one of the dangerous opening batsmen in the world. The blistering all-rounder can change the course of the play
within a few moments with his attacking batting.

The batting department has always been India’s main strength and it will remain as the central point of the Indian team for many years to come. The young guns such as Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Suresh Raina are extremely talented and well capable of carrying
forward the legacy of their seniors.

Without a shadow of doubt, the present Indian batting is one of the strongest units ever seen in the history. However, these masters will have to face a big challenge when they tour Australia by the end of this year.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his men are scheduled to take on the Kangaroos in four Test matches, and playing good cricket on quick Australian wickets will be a massive task for the Men in Blue.

They have done well in Australia before, and the Indian batsmen have the guts to come up with good in the tough Australian conditions.
