China dominates the semi finals of the U.A.E ITTF Pro Tour

The fourth Pro Tour of the International Table Tennis Federation ITTF is being played at the Al Shabab Club Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The event kicked off on the 15th of February is now in its concluding rounds. The finalist of the men’s and
women’s events was decided at the afternoon of 19th February. There were four Chinese players in the semi finals out of six.

In the first semi finals of the men’s event Ma Long China faced Mizutani Jun Japan. Ma is a legend and he defeated Xu Xin in the early rounds, he is on the fourth seed on the men’s world ranking, Mizutani is three seeds below him. In the first game Mizutani
won the first point but Ma did not let him go forward and won the next 11 points and won the game by (11-1), in the second game the score was equal at (6-6) and Mizutani really fought back but lost it by (12-10), the next game was taken by Ma (11-4), Ma lost
the fourth game by (12-10). In the final fifth game Ma won by (11-6). The final score of the match was (4-1).

In the second semi finals of men’s event both the players contested were from Wang Liqin and Wang Hao. The first game went head to head, Hao won the game (11-8), in the second game Hao maintained his lead by (11-4), and the next two games of the match were
taken by Hao by (11-6) and (12-10) won the match by straight games (4-0).

The first semi final of the women’s singles round Guo Yan encountered LI Xiaoxia, both the players were from China. Guo won the match by very close points (4-3); Guo lost the first game, won the next two and lost the fourth one. LI won the fifth game but
lost the sixth one, the final game was the decider and Guo remained ahead on the point Table and won the final game by (11-9).

In the second women’s semi final Ding Ning China played against Fukuhara Ai Japan, Ding is currently on the fifth seed on the women’s ITTF ranking February, whereas Fukuhara is on tenth seed. Ding won the first game by (11-5) and proved her dominancy on
the match, in the second game the score was equal (14-14) but she did not let go and won the game by (17-15), Ding made through the third game easily and won it by (11-7, in the fourth game she made through easily by (11-8) and won the match by straight games.

The third line up for the finals of Chinese players this year of the ITTF Pro Tours and would be the second final in which ding and Guo will be competing for the title, earlier Ding won the finals of the English open. The men’s final will be played among
Ma Long and world number two Wang Hao
