Survivor Series 2010 was an unforgettable night for WWE as it witnessed John Cena, one of the best wrestlers the federation has ever produced, getting fired from World Wrestling Entertainment.

Cena refused to forfeit his principles and proved to the world what his motto of Hustle, Loyalty and Respect meant to him by tapping the three counts over the mat against Nexus leader, Wade Barrett to grant WWE Champion, Randy Orton a win, thus making him
retain his title. The Nexus leader was in command of the match after beating Orton repeatedly down the ringside before his delivery signature Wasteland. Orton somehow managed to get his hand over the rope, saving the game for himself. This made Wade Barrett
go furious over the special guest referee John Cena, of which the champion took advantage and nailed Barrett with an RKO. Without any hesitation, the just referee counted to three and raised Orton’s hand to victory. It indeed is a gloomy day for fans all over
the world as they will never see John Cena again in the ring after he failed to survive at Survivor Series 2010. This act of selflessness has tremendously increased Cena’s respect in the eyes of the viewers and has ensured that he may not be a superstar in
WWE anymore but he will always remain a Champion for the fans.

Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater made sure that if one member of Nexus goes down the drain, the others must not. The game plan worked according to their actions as the duo won comprehensively against Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov and defended their
WWE Tag Team Championship successfully.

In one of the most thrilling and controversial encounter at Survivor Series, fans were let down after a spectacular match ended in a draw. With Edge imitating Kane’s father, Paul Bearer, the past week on SmackDown, the Big Red Monster was fuming for vengeance
against the Rated-R superstar. Before the match started, Edge struck Kane with a steel chair from behind following a series of punches to the head. He continued to have the upper hand in the match and just as he was about to go for a spear, Kane surprised
him with the chokeslam grip, to which he managed to kick out. Edge then again went for the spear, this time connecting but as he went for cover and got to the third count, the problematic position of his shoulders got revealed and the referee ended the match
in a draw instead.

After months of humiliation and chagrin by the hands of Michelle McCool and Layla, Natalya’s finally managed to put the record straight. With the 2-on-1 handicap match and the poor legacy of Hart’s family at her back, the third generation Diva, with a little
help from Beth Pheonix, managed to nail Lay-Cool for the Divas Championship.

The much awaited Survivor Series traditional Tag Team Elimination match was nothing short of spectacular. Members of both the teams- team Mysterio and team Del Rio- fought with great enthusiasm and presented a great display of skills. At the end, it was
Mysterio and his army that emerged triumphant, purely due to efficient coordination and teamwork which Del Rio and his partners lacked.  The loss of team Del Rio can be attributed to Del Rio’s own cowardice as he backed out after getting a bout from the World’s
Largest Athlete.  Superstars were eliminated one after the other which left The Big Show and Rey Mysterio to fight with Jack Swagger. It appeared as a fairly gentle task for the duo to knock out the All American-American Jack Swagger with a tardy 619.

Miami’s American Airlines Arena witnessed yet another terrific encounter between Sheamus and John Morrison. The Celtic Warrior, who prior to the combat promised to break Morrison both physically and spiritually was seen trapped in a line of his own when
the high flying John Morrison ducked out of the path of Dubliner’s massive boot, replying with a deadly kick followed by a knee to the Irish man’s jaw for the win.

With WWE official Smack Down consultant, Vickie Gurerro in Dolph Ziggler’s corner, it exceedingly becomes a daunting task for any superstar to perform properly. Young Kaval fell victim for the same reason. NXT Season 2 winner Kaval, who defeated Dolph Ziggler
past Friday night at Smack Down was up for an electrifying encounter for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. However, Ziggler proved too much for the athletic Kaval, who managed to impress the WWE universe with his aggressive moves and holds, despite being
short of a title aura.
