Anfield stronger than before, Pepe Reina gives explanation-Part 4

Continued from Part 3…

Suarez was brought up in the youth academy of Nacional however it was Ajax where the player acquired fame as a goal scoring machine. Carroll on the other hand was trained in the Newcastle
academy. His record with Newcastle has been impressive therefore Reds hope him to be the impact player he was at St. James’ Park.

Suarez has already shown his colours by scoring on his debut. Reina who has faced a goal-scored-shot by Andy Carroll predicts the player has great potential. The Spaniard stated, “I hope
it turns out like we all think it will. He’s a great player, a top striker and he will score a lot of goals for Liverpool. He has that physical condition. He is massive as a unit and a tough bloke to deal with. I know from my own experience how difficult it
is to face these kinds of opponents.”

The two last minute January transfers have been quite controversial. Offers had been flying in from all over the place for the two youngsters because of which Liverpool are blamed to throw
in some extra money.

Recently offers for Reina have also resurfaced in the market. Barcelona are trying to resign their former player in as a secondary option for Victor Valdes however if his form increases
he might be promoted to the first line up.

Manchester United has also shown interest in signing of the world class goalkeeper. They are looking to replace Dutch man Edwin van der Saar after the glove man finally decided to hang
up his boots this summer. Henceforth a bid for Reina can be expected after this season ends.

In the end all would be decided by Reina expressing his passion for Liverpool. If the shot stopper truly bleeds Red then all offers would be snubbed. Reina’s stay will also be judged by
Liverpool’s success by the remaining campaign this season. If they are able to capture a Champions League spot then chances of Reina staying with Liverpool would increase tenfold if not confirmed.

The weekend match against arch rivals Manchester United should provide a clearer picture for Liverpool. Both teams are headed into the clash at Anfield burdened by injury troubles. For
Liverpool Raul Meireles, Fabio Aurelio, Daniel Agger and Andy Carroll have all been cleared from their injuries.

Both Reds and Red Devils will have to feature with a depleted defence. For Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic is suspended after a red card during the Chelsea encounter which they
lost two goals to one. Rio Ferdinand is also ruled out due to his calf injury.

For Liverpool Martin Kelly from the right wing is out of action after an unfortunate thigh injury in his last match. Kelly was already filling in at the position so the whole Reds defence
will have to be rearranged.

Liverpool’s Head of Sports Medicine and Sports Science Dr. Peter Brukner is expected to present a full injury report before the match. Manager Kenny Dalglish has also planned to call a
press conference to inform how the club plans to enter the fixture.

Liverpool has produced surprising results since the beginning of New Year hence Reds do seem to be on track for rejuvenation. Football pundits have also predicted Liverpool’s fate to change
from a hazy Merseyside to a Red and rejoiced Anfield. This no doubt can be judged by the remainder of their campaign this season.
