Dhoni receives warm support from former Indian stumpers

India’s cool captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who is currently under a massive criticism of different experts of cricket due to his blemish wicket-keeping in the ongoing Test match against England at Birmingham, is receiving a warm
support from back to the home by ex-stumpers Kiran More and Chandrakant Pandit.

Dhoni and his men, who have flopped to stay before joyful English bowling line-up after making all experiment on the soil of England so far, are being mocked in all over the world. Men in blue, who are considered the world best
batting side, have failed to produce a gigantic innings for his country even in single innings out of 5.

India’s skipper, Dhoni scored 77 runs as his highest on the tour in the first innings of the current 3rd Test match. The 30-year-old Dhoni recently has blamed that injuries have suffered his side badly.

A big change in the Indian batting line-up Virender Sehwag, which was supposing to revive his team, has added fuel to fire in India’s failure, as the explosive opening batsman has received ‘kings pair’ after dismissing on duck
on very first deliveries of the both innings of 3rd Test.

Criticism on India has crossed the limits, when national selectors have shown their intentions to include wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Saha in the team, so that Dhoni can play as a batsman against England and interestingly he has not
performed well during the tour except in one innings.

While talking to media, the 48-year-old, Kiran More said, “I agree that Dhoni is struggling at the moment but you have to also keep in mind that he is under tremendous pressure. His batsmen and bowlers are not doing well and neither
his team, so it’s an induced effect on Dhoni which has resulted in lapse in concentration for the skipper.”

Pandit has also said that he does not want to blame Dhoni because his players have not delivered their bests.

The 49-year-old Pandit said, “I don’t want to be harsh on him. Also, technically he is not a natural wicketkeeper but has delivered the job in so many Test matches.”

However concluding his words, he said that the ball is spinning a lot in English conditions and it will not be easy for a new wicket-keeper to do job easily.

“The ball wobbles too much there and also the vicious swing that makes it more difficult for the wicket-keepers,” they said.
