David Beckham will not join Everton

Los Angeles Galaxy star David Beckham has ruled out a move back to the Premier League with Everton.

Beckham has been linked with Everton now that the American domestic season has finished. His LA Galaxy teammate Landon Donovan has also been linked with Everton and the club’s manager David Moyes has admitted
he’d love the chance to sign both.

No, I spoke about this a few days ago when I was in Australia.
It is always great to be wanted by different managers and different teams even if it’s on loan or a more permanent spell, it’s always nice,” Beckham told Sky Sports News.

Beckham and Moyes have a very good relationship, which was born during the player’s early Manchester United days. He played for Moyes as a youngster when he was sent on loan
to Preston North End. Moyes would have provided early guidance and advice just as Beckham was breaking into professional football at a good level.

Beckham has admitted that he knew Moyes had a very bright future in coaching and a mutual respect developed between the pair immediately. However, he insists a positive relationship
alone will not force a move.

I have got great respect for David Moyes from playing with him at Preston,”
he added.

Beckham has always been very public in his love and affection for former club Manchester United. He has always said that leaving for Real Madrid was his most difficult decision
in football and the only move that could tempt him back to English football would be a deal with this club.

I think he has done an amazing job at Everton, but I am a Man United fan –
it’s too close to home,” he said.

Betting advice

Beckham is far too good a player to be playing Major League Soccer. He could still do a very good job for a number of top European clubs. Don’t be afraid to have a large bet
on him being top scorer in the American league next season because he’s head and shoulders above a lot of players.
