“Daniel is the glue of our team,” Hyndman said. “I had a difficult time getting instructions onto the field Saturday night. Once the players got the instructions, it was already too late.”

The RSL took advantage of the missing leadership on the pitch and held possession for more than 60 percent.

The Real dominated the game in shots on goal; they tested Kevin Hartman seven times against the Toros’ reply of just two shots. The Dallas had attempted on the goal 52 times in the last three matches combined.

honor.”

Shea leads the club roster with eight goals, good enough for second position in the season’s overall top scorers.

“I think it’s terrific for Brek. He has really had a great first half of the season and to be recognized by the league is wonderful,” added the FCD tactician.

Moreover, teenager Richard Sanchez returns back to the US after winning the Under-17 Football World Cup for Mexico against Uruguay holding a 2-0 score line.
