Madhya Pradesh women got their second successive victory today on trouncing the Maharashtra with a 6-0 score lead in the 34th National Games currently being held in Jharkhand, India.

Madhya Pradesh was a stand out in its previous match against Delhi as well as today’s match having an unbeatable win twice. The first goal of the match was shot in the 12th minute of the match by the skilled striker
Jameela Bano. The match became serious after a goal was posted by Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra women struggled to attack on front foot. The matter was equally important for the Maharashtra’s defence to save the goal from the opponents attack but they failed
when Ranjita Sanasam slotted the second goal for Maharashtra in the 25th minute.

This sudden goal was retorted very well by the Maharashtra and they managed to reduce the Madya Pradesh score attempts with the help of their goalkeeper, Rajni Etimarpu’s time to time calls for countering the attacks. Finally,
the first half ended with a 2-0 score for Maharashtra to trail.

With the second half on the roll, the Madhya Pradesh managed to avail the penalty corner provided to them that was brilliantly scored by Pinky Devi in the 41st minute. The Maharashtra women did not lose hope and began
to defend and attack for chasing the 3 score lead.

Eight minutes later, another penalty corner went in favour of Madhya Pradesh that was struck by Rajita Mullick in the second half. Coincidently, another eight-minute gap lead to the third penalty corner in which again Pinky Devi,
the striker appeared to get hold of this goal, putting the lead to 5-0 for Madhya Pradesh in the 61st minute of the match.

By just 4 minutes left on the clock, the Maharashtra girls could feel that the match had gone out of their hands and repented such a failure when the concluding goal was performed by the striker, Vandana Katariya taking the score
to a high lead of 6-0.

Maharashtra standing helpless in the field tried to compensate the loss by winning a goal but the match ended up where Maharashtra was trailing by 0-6 score.
