England’s full back Ben Foden has been arrested by local police after a row with taxi driver. Foden was returning from a club after celebrating Aviva Premiership win against Wasps on Sunday. He was alleged of damaging the taxi along with his friend who helped
him in harming the vehicle, taken to police cell. Later on both of them were released on bail.

The incident took place in central London and police revealed the incident to local media. Foden was released on bail on Monday morning but was asked to reappear before the police. On the other hand his unknown friend has been charged of theft.

Foden is also the boyfriend Una Healy who is a famous singer of UK. The Rugby Football Union has declared the incident as personal matter of the star and thinks it has nothing to do with it. The Rugby Football Union may wait the decision of police or his
club before determining any punishment to Foden. A police spokesman told the media the details of his arrest he said: A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: ‘Police were called to reports of an altercation on Old Park Lane, W1, at 3:30am on Monday.
A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion on criminal damage. A 23-year-old was arrested on suspicion of theft”.

The incident has significant shock for both to his club and national team England. His team has been recently deprived of grand slam by Ireland in Dublin clash. England was expecting first grand slam after 2003 but its dreams were scattered by Ireland which
defeated them by a huge margin of 24-8.

Foden is considered senior player in his national and club sides. He played a vital role in the victory of his club to grab Aviva Premiership against Wasps on last Sunday. Foden has very good season in the recent six nations championship as he scored decisive
try against the France that was quite a hatred game. The incident has raised many questions regarding the negative behavior of the rugby players. Recently Melbourne Rebel’s Player Danny Cipriani was accused of vine theft from a casino. Cipriani was clearly
shown hiding the alcohol bottle in his trousers.
