    A Passion for Sports Journalism

Benjamin Royer’s journey into sports journalism began when he was a high school student. He was captivated by the world of sports and the way it could bring people together. As he delved deeper into the world of sports journalism, he realized that it wasn’t just about reporting on games, but about telling stories that could inspire and motivate people. He began writing for his school’s newspaper, covering local high school sports events. He also started a sports blog, where he shared his thoughts and opinions on various sports topics. His passion for sports journalism only grew stronger as he continued to write and cover more events.

The Opportunity to Cover High School Sports

In July, Benjamin Royer landed a freelance reporting position with The Times, covering high school sports. This was a dream come true for him, as he had always wanted to work for a major publication like The Times. He has been writing for The Times since July, covering a wide range of high school sports events. From football to basketball, Benjamin has covered it all, and his articles have been well-received by readers.
