With early lead Mill Bling Bling experienced a comfortable success in the Betfred Eclipse Finals

Charlie Lister, who strongly fancied the chance of taking home the handsome purse of £8,000, unfortunately faced huge crisis. For the battle of the Grade OR chase, the Betfred Eclipse Final, the trainer had leading opportunity, but it was a lucky day for K Macari whose shocking 7-4, Mill Bling Bling courageously covered the trip of 500 meters in first place.

With the best even odds, C Lister’s black dog was placed in the show to bring home festivity, but the chance of his triumph soon shattered when K Macari’s three-year-old cracked out tremendously and caught every one’s eyes.

Drawn orange, Boher Paddy was placed in trap 5 for C Lister. As the signal was received the hound commenced through his box with a moderate speed, but suddenly he encountered slight obstruction, which gave trainer K Macari’s Mill Bling Bling a chance to show off his hidden talent to Nottingham.

Wearing red and white jacket, the three-year-old champ was extremely swift and abrupt from the beginning of the show, which helped him in snatching the lime light from his contender Boher Paddy.

The ‘dark horse’ brilliantly made his way from the inside of the track and rallied promptly through the pack of hounds.

In next to no time he was spotted in the pointer position, on which he sustained till he was able to break through the wire.

Trainer H Williams’s Tudor Prince who after getting obstructed during the initial stretch, was held right behind Mill Bling Bling by margin of 3 ½ length.

The trap 3 racer crying for room, never accomplished in taking command over the entire lot, but he was able to take lead over the favourite warrior of the battle, Boher Paddy.

With his magnificent performance, Mill Bling Bling succeeded in producing 29.75 seconds as his final time, for trainer K Macari’s.

While the trap 4 racer Tudor Prince making his way towards the finish line from the middle of the track, broke through the wire in second place in 30.03 seconds.

Boher Paddy, who was a shoulder away from H Williams’s dog, took 30.04 seconds to wrap up his chase in third place.

Besides the top three positions, the fourth place was acquired by trainer D Childs’s Ballymac William, while Mark My Words, who was in for trainer P Sallis was the fifth one to cross the wire.

Trained by S Mason, Bowtime Joey was the last one to cross the finish line, in 30.29 seconds.

With the assistance of an early lead K Macari’s Mill Bling Bling easily succeeded in recording his third Category One triumph of the year.
