Tiger Woods ready to face Adam Scott in the Presidents Cup

Tiger Woods has said that he will not be having any issue if paired against Adam Scott in the Presidents Cup. Scott is playing with Steve Williams as his caddie who is former caddie of Woods.

The relations spoiled between Woods and Williams when Woods fired Williams in July. When Woods announced this, Williams did not like it and said that he was really shocked to hear all that as he had caddied Woods for 11 years and he was incredibly loyal to him.

Things got worse when Williams fired a storm when he called his former employer, Tiger Woods, a “Black Arsehole” in annual Caddy Awards dinner party in Shanghai.

However, Williams apologized later to Woods by saying that he didn’t mean by that saying as understood by people.

“I apologize for comments I made last night at the Annual Caddy Awards dinner in Shanghai," Williams' statement on his website this Friday. "Players and caddies look forward to this evening all year and the spirit is always joking and fun. I now realize how my comments could be construed as racist. However I assure you that was not my intent. I sincerely apologize to Tiger and anyone else I have offended."

Woods also played at the Australian Open where Scott was also a participant and it seemed that the air got cleared between Woods and Williams a little bit and Woods said that he is ready to take Scott in the Presidents Cup when the U.S. Team will take on the International team at Royal Melbourne.

Woods said that whatever the pairings will happen, it will happen and whatever they will be, one should go out and play for his team.

U.S. team captain Fred couples said that both Woods and Scott would be enjoying the challenge of being against each other playing at Royal Melbourne. He further added that Woods and Scott are still good friends and don’t think that there is any problem between Williams and Woods and Woods will really have a good time.

"My old caddie of 20 years, (Joe LaCava), is caddying for Tiger, so the four of them know each other; Joey and Adam get along great, Joey and Steve get along great - I think it will be fun."

Woods has recently enjoyed a good form in the Australian open where he finished 3rd and also improved his rankings in the World Golf Rankings in top 50s.

After his performance in Australian Open, Woods said that he was very close to victory and he was pleased with his game that he played in the event and everything was quite good.

Further he added that he improved his game a lot, the only thing that went wrong was on Saturday when he shot 4 bogeys leading to finish on 75. If he could have played well on that day too, he could have finished on 71 or even 70. However, it was a good time he had at the Australian Open.
