The United States Golf Association (USGА) conducts the US Open, US Women’s Open and US Senior Open along with 10 amateur national championships, 2 state team championships and other international events. Together with the R&A, USGA governs the games all over the world and administers the Rules of Golf, Amateur Status rules, equipment standards and the World Amateur Golf Rankings. Working jurisdictions of USGA are comprised of the United States and its territories and Mexico.

On Thursday, USGA announced that the 2013 USGA Women's State Team Championship will be hosted by NCR Country Club іn Kettering, Ohio. NCR had a history of hosting 3 previous USGA Championships and the PGA Championship in 1969. Among those 3 USGA championships were US Women’s Open in 1986, US Mid-Amateur in 1998 and US Senior Open in 2005.

"We've had a long-standing tradition of holding championships at NCR Country Club, going back to the 1969 PGA Championship and carrying on through to the 2005 U.S. Senior Open," said Steve Bolerjack, the club's general manager/chief operating officer. "This just continues our important relationship with the USGA. We thought it was appropriate timing for us to host the Women's State Team Championship. We're very excited about hosting this event."

The USGA Women's State Team Championship will be played from 17th to 19th September, 2013 at the NCR Country Club in Kettering, Ohio.
