After their last defeat against the Crusaders at the Baypark Stadium in Tauranga he admitted that his side was relaxed in the midway of the game. This was the third consecutive defeat for them and skipper claimed that they would try to present better play in South Africa.

The fresh injury of Umaga has poured cold water on the Chiefs ahead of their crucial matches. The Super Rugby exactly in the midway and Chiefs are placed on overall 12th position on the point’s tables. The Chiefs produced worst performance in the year of 2010 when they ended up the season with 11th position.

Tana Umaga started his Super Rugby career in 2006, playing for the Hurricanes. He was named the captain of the All Blacks in 2004 and produced a wonderful performance. The side won 19 matches out of 21 under his impressive leadership.

The Chiefs are seeking much needed victory against the Lions even without Umaga. The Lions are placed exactly on the bottom of the tables with just one victory after nine outgoings.
