Marco Torsiglieri on the verge of loan deal with Rayo Vallecano, Braga eye Gerson Magrão – Report

Rayo Vallecano to sign Torsiglieri on loan

According to reports, Torsiglieri was being targeting by Rayo Vallecano and it appears as if they have succeeded in luring the player to Spain on a loan deal.

The 23-year-old started his career with Velez Sarsfield and made his way up the ranks at the club to make his debut for the first team in 2006. Initially the Small Fort loaned him to Talleres de Córdoba for match experience but later recalled him. His displays after his return caused Sporting Lisbon to part with €3.4 million for his services.

The Lions sold a 50% stake of his future transfer fees to an investment company for €1.7 million in 2010.

It looks Sporting have made a right decision, as the defender has failed to live up to his hype and only made 16 appearances for the Lisbon side, who already have several players in his position. The club has reportedly agreed to a one year loan deal, which would contain an option to buy Torsiglieri at the end of the season.

Sporting Braga looking to sign Gerson Magrão from Dynamo Kiev

Braga have reportedly entered negotiations with Ukrainian side, Dynamo Kiev, for the transfer of Gerson Magrão.

The deal is rumored to be in the closing stages, with the clubs agreed on a €1 million transfer fee. The only thing left for the move to be official is the player choosing the one of three or four personal terms Braga have offered.

Gerson started his Cruzeiro in Brazil but was later snapped by Eredivisie club, Feyenoord, in 2004. However he did not perform at the same level at the club, as he had with Cruzeiro and was sold to Flamengo. His return to Brazilian football was marked with short stints with Ipatinga and former employers, Cruzeiro.

The 26-year-old regained some of his Brazilian samba and his performances caught the eye of Dynamo Kiev, who lured the player to Ukraine in 2009.

With a move almost done and dusted, Gerson’s experience of playing in the UEFA Champions League will bring some much needed quality in the Braga teams, who have been overshadowed by their rivals in recent times.
