Justin Morneau looks good as night game depicts no symptoms for the Twins’ hitter

The Minnesota Twins are not taking their chances of Justin Morneau. The player who suffered a severe concussion last season played his first game in the night format of the Grapefruit League. The player went up against the Baltimore Orioles and registered a 0 – for – 3 in his knock with the bat. In all the missed chances, the player brought the best of his play out to the field as he drew a walk the opposing pitcher. The Twins won the game eventually by a score line of 3 – 2.

Time is passing by well for Morneau in Sarasota, Florida. The player reported no symptoms after the game and it appears the hitter is reaching optimal condition in his stint in Spring Training. The player talked about his game after the innings ended. He was curious to see what would happen if he took the game opportunity. He however did admit that his feature in the fixture wasn’t an important note to take out of the game.

The player is now looking to go up against the Tampa Bay Rays as a designated hitter in the next game. Fortunately, the match against the Orioles proves he’s in the right knock with the bat.

"I just wanted to see how it was," said Morneau.

"It's just different. For the most part, the stuff has come on later in the day. So I wanted to see, because we usually play night games during the season, I wanted to see where I was at, and I felt pretty good."

The player claims he’s making progress in the camp and is looking to reach normalcy soon. The player told the reporters that he’s at a point where the symptoms are a non – factor.

"There are still times up there when it creeps into my mind," Morneau said. "Especially because every time I reach first, the umpire asks me how I feel. But besides that, I try not to think about it."

If Morneau walks out of spring, a healthy man, the Twins can hope to achieve more this season.
