Jose Mourinho stand firm on his outburst against Barcelona’s foul tactics; UEFA Champions League updates

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho stands firm on his stance of showing bitter criticism over Barcelona foul tactics as he claimed that Pep Guardiola’s employed unfair strategies against them in the first of the two legged UEFA Champions League Semi-final at Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday. Real after winning ‘Copa del Rey’ final, couldn’t hold on to their nerves and received a painful 2-0 defeat from the Catalan giants courtesy of two breathtaking goals from the little Argentinean Lionel Messi.

The 48-year-old, Mourinho slammed the referee ‘Wolfgang Stark’ for making bias decisions in favour of Barcelona. The special one, Mourinho was in extreme discomfort when the referee sent off ‘Pepe’ out of the ground for making a foul on Barcelona’s defender, Daniel Alves. Mourinho was also unhappy for the yellow card being given to Sergio Ramos due to which he will miss the second leg Semi-final.

 Mourinho showed some weird gestures to the referee due to which he was sent on to the spectator’s stands.  Mourinho while defending himself said “I haven't said anything to the referee. I simply laughed and gave some two-finger applause.”

Mourinho indirectly said that the main reason Barcelona get so much good decisions in their favour is their good relationship with the sponsors, Unicef. He, while accusing Pep Guardiola by calling him Pep said;

“No one has any chance against Barca. Where does all this power come from? To win like this is very nasty. Maybe it’s because advertising Unicef gets you sympathy, maybe having [Spanish Football Federation chief] Villar on Uefa gets you sympathy.”

The 48-year-old Mourinho defended his criticism by as he believes that Alves pretended that he was hurt, but it was the other way around. It remains a fact that Alves came back to the ground unhurt only a moments later after he was stretchered off earlier in 64th minute of match.

The ‘Special One’ has given up his hopes for the UEFA Champions league glory as he believe that it will be an uphill task to overturn a two goals deficit in the second leg tie which will take place on 3rdMa at Nou Camp, the home ground of Barcelona. He added;

“The return game is mission impossible. Barcelona have qualified for the final. Sometimes I feel disgusted about this football world of ours. Yes, we have already been knocked out.”

It is highly likely that Mourinho will have sit on the stands for the second leg, as UEFA is planning to take a strict disciplinary action against him after Barcelona have lodged a formal complaint against him.

The former Chelsea manager, Mourinho has taken Inter Milan and Porto to the winning podium of Champions League during his second season in charge, so in that respect, Mourinho has showed the determination that he will bring glory for Madrid in the next season.
