Gareth Bale suggests that he could be on his way out of Tottenham – but also out of the Premier League

Tottenham Hotspur’s Welsh superstar, Gareth Bale has gone on to drop a massive hint regarding his future after stating that he would not have any problems to play for a team outside the Premier League.

The player came forth with these comments only a day before his side are set to play Real Madrid in the Champions League, who of course were also being linked with a potential move for Bale in January.

Following his brilliant performances this season, especially the hat-trick against Inter Milan in the Champions League, the player has pretty much been the talk of the town and has been linked to a number of teams. However the two foreign teams that are rumoured to be the favourites to land the player are Spanish sides, Barcelona and Real Madrid – which at this point was inevitable since the two teams seem to the favourite destination of almost every decent player.

Having put pen to paper to a new deal at the White Hart Lane, the player seems to have no issues with moving abroad.

When talking about his future Bale is reported to have said: "If there is a great opportunity then that has to be considered seriously.

"I left home when I was 15, if I leave the Premier League, learn another language and see another country then I will grow as a person."

However following that the player then went on to turn his attention to Real Madrid’s Cristiano Rolando (who he could potentially be playing alongside next season) and stated: "I see Cristiano, what he does - and sometimes a sideways pass is the best option.

"I see him, his power and speed, when I see him do things I am looking to repeat them."

It seems like Ronaldo is a player who Bale is aspiring to be like and the way the player is progressing not many would argue for him to one day be at the level that Ronaldo is at the moment.

The two player’s share many of the same attributes when closely looked upon. They both have tremendous pace, great dribbling ability, good shooting and the ability to bend in a wicked free-kick or two. At the moment the one significant difference between the two is the fact that Ronaldo is a much more polished player and can also contest for aerial balls as well.

Nonetheless if Bale is given some time, it would be more than likely for him to work on his weaker characteristics and become one of the greatest players to come out of Wales. At the same time if that does happen, then his time at the Lane might just come to an end.
