Dyna Tron confirmed his place in the April 9 Heats by cashing the win in the third Macro Meats Golden Easter Egg Prelude

Dyna Tron trained by a Victorian trainer Andrea Dailly emerged victorious in the third Macro Meats Golden Easter Egg Prelude, which is of 520 metres in distance, at Wentworth Park on previous Saturday night and with this win he confirmed his participation in the upcoming heats on April 9. Seven out of 21 Golden Easter Eggs have already won by the Victorian trained greyhounds.

Along with Dyna Tron some other greyhounds also displayed great and exciting performances which include Redfem Fever, Adam Meway, Monster Jack, Chenzhou Boy and Mariana’s pride having guaranteed their places in the group 1 event.

The son of Collision, Dyna Tron started very well by gaining a lead during the first turn over the fellow Victorian Iceman Raikkonen and ran very fine during all the time. Dyna Tron, the first interstate qualifier then retained his strong lead on the track and finished it in 30.23 seconds winning by two lengths.

Redfem Fever, prepared by Owen Langley also showed his sparkling talent during his victory over express Priminate and Dusty Arizona. Having stepped out from box 1 the chaser preserved his lead all the way to finish in 30.48 seconds.

In the first competition of the Saturday night it was Adam Meway who scored his fourth consecutive win by snatching the victory in a time of 30.29 seconds. The chaser seemed to be returned to New South Wales (NSW) to win in the Golden Easter Egg after his successful trip of Victoria where he recently recorded two victories. The first success came at The Meadows where he finished in 30.27 seconds and the second one at the Sandown where the chaser concluded in a fast and swift time of 29.56 seconds.

The Anthony Azzopardi prepared greyhound also enjoyed the victory being among the winners of this week. The dashing dog showed really a mad dash running effort by taking the early lead and kicked a clear victory over the Full Blast which seemed no comparison for the champion at any stage during the race. He flashed the victory by a margin of two and three quarter lengths. Full Blast has been placed at the second position in Golden Easter Egg Prelude in successive weeks.

Nomination for the final three Preludes has been sealed on Tuesday morning. A number of interstate running greyhounds have been confirmed to compete in the events to make sure their positions in the April 9 competition.
