NBA: Nine contests were held among 18 teams of the NBA, as nine of them faltered while the other nine went home with a victory. Let us take an overview of some of the top performances that came Sunday night.

McGee turning 16, 6

JaVale McGee featured the most remarkable performance for the Washington Wizards who took a whopping 98-92 win over the New Jersey Nets. It was his 8 for 9 shooting from the field that limited the Nets from attacking back and the player finished with 16 points and grabbed six rebounds in the win.

Wall’s tenacious 26

John Wall had 26 points of the team’s total score to his credit. The 20-year-old finished on an 11 for 22 shooting and dished out eight assists in the victory. Later the player said, "They just kept giving me the ball, and I willed us to the win."

Lopez massing 21, 10 

Brook Lopez scooped out 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds going 3 for 7 shooting from the three pointer zone. The player was 9 for 16 overall.

Hawks’ as a team

Six of the Hawks scored in double figures as the Atlanta Hawks moved past the Detroit Pistons clasping a 104-96 win over them. Al Horford scored 18, Jason Smith and Joe Johnson contributed 17 each, Kirk Hinrich scored 15 whereas Marvin Williams and Zaza Pachulia added 13 each.

Pachulia was tenacious enough to pull out 11 of his total 13 in the very second quarter of the game going 9 for 10 from the free throw zone.

Delfino’s career best game

Who could excel past Carlos Delfino when he was in action. The player scored had a career high night and scored 30 points with 11 rebounds in Milwaukee’s 100-95 surge over the New York Knicks. The player went scoring his season high for the second time and finished on a 6 for 11 shooting from the long range. All that was missing was a steal and the player was so happy about the prospect of coming back on the court after missing two and a half months said, "I'll never forget that I was almost out for the season with an injury, so every single day I'm so happy to answer the call."

Dalembert’s assault of Love

Samuel Dalembert scored game high 26 points and grabbed 17 rebounds finishing on a 13 for 20 shooting from the field. The player was at a spark from the painted area. Dalembert has maintained an average of 16.3 points and 11.8 boards in his previous four games. What was more important about this game was that the player headed Kevin Love who suffered an injury in the contest. The rebounding machine could only sum up three rebounds in 14 plus minutes of action.
