Buglys Billie grabbed the purse for R Boosey in William Hill – The Home Of Betting Marathon at Wimbledon

Along with the other notable events the sponsorship of Williamhill.com organised another event, the William Hill – The Home Of Betting Marathon. The 894 meters race, entailing the purse of £500, made R Boosey’s bitch the star of the show.

On the 4th October 2011, the white and black bitch Buglys Billie was placed in the Wimbledon meeting to chase the lure for her trainer. The three-year-old bitch commenced her chase from trap 3 wearing white and black jacket, she railed through the track impressively completing every bend.

As she dashed herself into the eight bend, fortunately she attained the head start position and sustained there until she crossed over. The idyllic hound of the race with the odds of 4/6 F concluded her quest in 55.76 seconds.

Following R Boosey’s victorious bitch by 6 ¾ lengths, was Blonde Blitz, the blue dog with the odds of 7/1 was in the combat for trainer A Collett. The four-year-old hound started off quite impressively, but while proceeding through the pack of hounds he was challenged and could not accomplish in attaining the lead.

A Collett’s trap 6 racer took 56.30 seconds to finish second in the William Hill – The Home Of Betting Marathon.

P Young’s brindle dog who took 56.40 seconds to cover the entire distance was Aero Gaga, The three-year-old was placed in the race with 9/2 odds. Initiating his quest with a meticulous early pace, Aero Gaga tried every chance to place himself at the lead, but unfortunately he was not able to acquire the desiring position.

Following Aero Gaga by 1 ½ length was the trap 1 racer Black Reason, C Self’s black bitch commenced her chase through trap 1. The three-year-old bitch’s chase was quite sluggish, later on she charged herself and dashed through the trail, but it was too late the technique did not work out.  

P Young’s second hound who managed to finish up fifth could not accomplish in winning the purse for him. Nice N Furry railing through trap 5 with 16/1 odds got obstructed during the fourth bend, due to which he took 56.60 seconds to cross the wire.

The last hound who concluded the race for trainer L Sams in 56.98 seconds was Ministry Magpie. The white and black bitch began her chase from trap 4 wearing black and white jacket. While surging through fourth bend she got crowded due to which she ended up sixth in the race.

The Grade OR event William Hill – The Home Of Betting Marathon wrapped up the event by rewarding R Boosey’s bitch Buglys Billie £500.
