Andriy Voronin believes Dynamo Moscow were terrific against FC Amkar Perm: Russian Premier League

The Dynamo Moscow forward and club captain, Andriy Voronin has expressed his delight after collecting three points against FC Amkar Perm at Arena Khimki. Dinamiki won 3-0 against Navozniki at home.

Voronin scored the opening goal of the match; Igor Semshov made it 2-0 and finally Pavel Nyakhaychyk chipped another goal to cement team position away from home. The Ukrainian striker admitted that the Musora could have scored a few more goals and insisted that the win was a collective team effort.

The former Hertha BSC player highlighted that Kevin Kurányi missed enough chances during the match and the former Schalke player was out of position at times.

“We controlled the game and we are all happy about it. Amkar tried well for the equalizer but we managed to kill the game in the second half. Three goals are enough, especially against a tough team. We defended well and responded well on the attack. Kurányi could have scored four goals.” The former Liverpool FC forward was quoted as saying.

The Ukrainian footballer highlighted that the Moscow-based club is moving in the right direction under the head coach, Sergei Silkin and admitted that he is thrilled by the scoring form of the team. Dynamo have scored 16 goals in their previous five league encounters against CSKA Moscow, Anzhi Makhachkala, Terek Grozny, Spartak Nalchik and the Red-Blacks.

Voronin highlighted his desire to claim a top spot on the league table and revealed that the Dinamiki needs to be more ruthless in front of the goal in the remaining matches of the season.

The former Bayer Leverkusen front man hailed Dynamo character after winning against difficult opponents and insisted that the Policemen deserves a top place on the league table. The Ukrainian national highlighted that he changed his shoes during the match because he was losing grip on the field.

Voronin refused to speak up about Zenit St. Petersburg result against Rubin Kazan and insisted that he is focused on his team only. The Bomzhi won against the Tatary to retain the top spot on the league table. The Moscow-based club are now two points short of the league leaders.

The 32-year-old revealed that Dynamo are preparing for the Russian Cup encounter against the St. Petersburg club and hoped for a win. The 32-year-old striker revealed that it is going to be very interesting match because both the teams are already fighting for the title this season.

Voronin believe that Dynamo are capable of winning against any team and their recent performances have been entertaining, worth watching and disciplined. The Ukrainian believes that the Musora are not afraid to play against Luciano Spalletti’s men and expected a tough fight against them.
