Andreas Brehme confident for Bayern Munich in UEFA Champions League (fixed headline)

The former Legendary German international, Andreas Brehme, is confident for Bundesliga outfit Bayern Munich to claim a good result in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 double headers tie against Serie A giants Inter Milan at San Siro. Brehme wore the jerseys of The Bavarians and Nerazzurri in his impressive career.

Brehme said, “Inter haven’t pushed on as a team since the final. It's obviously difficult when you’ve won every trophy you contested in a given season, and I would say the same for Bayern. Bayern are in a confident mood after two convincing wins in the league. They’ll need to be aggressive, because they have a chance of taking something from the game in Milan. Inter will have to attack, and that should suit Bayern”.

Champions League reigning champions, Nerazzurri, will be looking to defend the title successfully. Their players are capable of achieving wonders and they will be looking to perform their best on the pitch. The Black and Blues are in supreme domestic form this season while playing at San Siro, as they have lost only once in their nine matches. It will be a tough task for the Bavarians to achieve a good result in their away encounter against the defending champions.

Die Roten will be hoping that their star performers’ supreme form remains intact, as they take on the Serie A giants in their upcoming Champions League encounter. The Bavarians were struggling to claim good results without their star winger, Arjen Robben. However, the Reds are now at their best, as they have not lost a single match with Robben on the pitch in 2011. The Bavarians fans will be hoping that their side can achieve a good result and keep their European hopes alive.

It will be a  tough encounter between the two sides. However, the former German international believes that either of the teams will not go on to win Europe’s most prestigious competition. Both teams will be desperate to claim a win. However, the Bavarians will look to avenge the last season Champions League final defeat from Nerazzurri by knocking out the home side from the competition.
