Abdullah’s team ready for the flight to Kentucky for the Breeders’ Cup

Prince Abdullah Khalid is all set and ready for the Breeders’ Cup Turf at Churchill Downs that is to be held in the coming month, November. He has set his team very strategically for the event with adequate provisions and preparations for the Breeders’ Cup Filly And Mare Turf and the Breeders’ Cup challenge. For each of these races he has wisely thought out for the deserving candidates that will contest.

Teddy Grimthorpe is convinced that Sea Moon has the desired skill set for competing at the Breeders’ Cup and will not let the connections down. Sea Moon has raced thrice this season and out of those runs he has won two, both being the Group 2 York.

On 11th June Sea Moon claimed the York race on a field of eight horses and left Flag Officer behind by 1 ¾ lengths, making him the runner up for the race. The next was on 17th August, again attracting the same number of contestants on the track. This time Sea Moon left the tracking Al Kameez behind by eight lengths. The first York race was won with Ryan Moore onboard and the next attempt saw Sea Moon and Richard Hughes riding together.

The last that Sea Moon raced was at Doncaster on 10th September with Olivier Peslier onboard. This race did not result in what was actually being expected from Sea Moon as he landed third in the race with a lineup of nine participants. The race was won the St Leger winner Masked Marvel and he was followed by his competition at the Leger, Brown Panther.

For the Breeders’ Cup Filly And Mare Turf, Abdullah has decided to have dual representation with Midday and Announce both contesting for the title. Both have compatible records as far as the caliber of the race is concerned.

To complete his representation for the Breeders’ event, Abdullah would be sending Byword who is most famous for beating the Champion Stakes winner Cirrus Des Aigles in the Prix Dollar. All in all Byword is a capable horse for the responsibility that he is being trusted with.

The team that Abdullah Khalid has conjured up for this event is very talented and it would soon be making some great news for the horse racing industry.
