5/2 Southern Dooey, whitewashed Longford Meg the 2/1F, in the Coral On TV Bitches Trophy Final

C Allsopp’s victorious bitch has proved herself as the real go getter, by presenting an amazing hit in the Coral On TV Bitches Trophy Final, the champ has confirmed her ownership for the purse, at the dirt track of Romford.

Southern Dooey, was previously the winner of the Coral On TV Bitches Trophy Heats, like wise she has placed herself in the lime light, by snatching the prize money for her trainer C Allsopp, with her swift attitude.

30th September 2011, Romford stadium was ready to experience the thrilling show, in which bitches were expected to set the track on fire. As the doors of the six traps opened after the given signals, Southern Dooey wearing black and white jacket with red number printed over it, commenced through the trap 6 with an astonishing pace.

Her vigorous chase not only broke blaze on the track, but her intensity became a threat for the rest of the lot. With fantastic promptness, she dashed through the trail, in impulse to get hold of the pointer position.

Eventually the brindle bitch surged through the lot of hounds and placed herself at the head start, within 24.23 seconds, she was declared as the frontrunner.

Vanquishing rest of the five contenders including the most idyllic hound of the show, Longford Meg, who was in the race with 2/1 F odds, Southern Dooey became the star of the show.

The black bitch, Longford Meg was the purse winner in the Coral On TV Bitches Trophy Heats, but this time her lethargic start became a reason for her tragic defeat. Being bumped in and bulked during the first bend, Longford Meg managed to finish fifth in 24.85 seconds, for trainer J Daly.

Boo Boos Bella, a three-year-old black bitch, who was right behind the triumph of the show Southern Dooey, sadly came second by 2 ¼ lengths, for trainer M Locke. Although her early pace was quite impressive, her speed was not enough to compete with her contender, and took 24.41 seconds to conclude her quest.

The third hound, who crossed over in 24.57 seconds for trainer D R Pruhs, was Sequential, the black bitch unfortunately got herself bumped in, later on she got hampered during the second bend.

Following Sequential by 1 ¼ lengths, was C Allsopp’s three-year-old hound Barntick Cove. Black bitch tried every chance to be the first one on the other side of the wire, but sadly she was forced to finish fourth in 24.67 seconds.

The last hound who helped in concluding the combat, was Rockburst Fanta, the brindle bitch was in the race for M A Wallis. Her sluggish pace turned out to be a major drawback for the young hound, she got hampered and forced to change her path in the second bend.

Out of the entailed prize money of £1050, the winner of the show Southern Dooey was rewarded with £750, while Boo Boos Bella, who managed to finish second, took home £100.
